Monderma Waterfilters - Warranty Terms

All products supplied by LTBJ GLOBAL (Aquaticstream) are covered by the statutory warranty as laid down in the Civil Code (BW), specifically the rules concerning conformity as outlined in Article 7:17 BW (Principle of Conformity) and protection against hidden defects.

If a delivered product does not meet the reasonable expectations, it can be returned to LTBJ GLOBAL (Aquaticstream). The product will then be taken back, exchanged, or refunded, in accordance with the rights you have as a consumer.

Warranty Periods:

  • Stainless steel filter systems come with a 12-month warranty, excluding taps.
  • The Black Filters are covered by a proportional two-year warranty, calculated every six months, excluding gaskets and wing nuts.
  • Other accessories come with a 6-month warranty.
  • The warranty period starts on the date the product is received by the original buyer.

Statutory Warranty: In addition to the commercial warranty, the statutory warranty also applies in the Netherlands. This means that a product must meet the expectations that you, as a consumer, can reasonably have, as stated in Article 7:17 BW. If the product malfunctions within a reasonable time frame, you are entitled to a free repair, replacement, or refund.

Claim Procedure: For all claims, requests for exchanges, repairs, or refunds, prior approval from LTBJ GLOBAL (Aquaticstream) customer service is required. Products from LTBJ GLOBAL (Aquaticstream) are guaranteed against material or manufacturing defects under normal use.

Seller’s Liability: LTBJ GLOBAL (Aquaticstream) is liable for defects that become apparent under normal use, as described in Article 7:21 BW. The seller is responsible for providing a solution, not the manufacturer.

Exclusions from Warranty: The warranty does not apply to products used for non-prescribed purposes or that have been altered, resulting in reduced performance. This warranty is only valid for the original buyer and cannot be transferred.

The warranty will be void in the following cases:

  • If a filter element has frozen.
  • If daily water from a dehumidifier is used with the filters.
  • If a filter element is damaged or broken due to a fall.
  • If a malfunction occurs due to improper installation or maintenance.
  • If the filters are not removed from the system before moving it, causing potential damage.
  • If inappropriate tests are carried out with the filters, voiding the warranty.
  • If water from a salt-based water softening system is used, which may clog the filters or cause rust on the stainless steel.
  • If the manufacturer's usage instructions are not followed.

Warranty Procedure: To claim the warranty, the buyer must submit a request via email to contact.aquaticstream@gmail.com, including the order number, order date, buyer’s name, and the reason for the claim. Upon approval from customer service, the buyer will receive instructions for returning the product, including a return label which will be sent via email. Returns are free of charge throughout the entire warranty period.
