The replacement filter element for the Sport Berkey® water bottle
The Sport Berkey® Filter Element is designed to significantly eliminate or reduce toxic chemicals, heavy metals, volatile organic compounds, trihalomethanes, detergents, pesticides, herbicides, chlorine compounds, pharmaceuticals and petroleum products, unpleasant odors, sludge, sediment, and chlorine.
Directions for use:
To drink, suck firmly through the straw while squeezing the bottle lightly to create some pressure which helps the water rise through the filter and then into the straw.
Good to know: The Sport Berkey® water bottle is durable and has a lifespan of 50 years. Replacement cartridge filtration capacity:
- Dirty and untreated water: ~ 160 refills
- Tap water: ~640 fills Do not freeze, microwave, or pour hot water through the filter.
