Aquaticstream - Warranty Conditions

All products supplied by LTBJ GLOBAL (Aquaticstream) are covered by the statutory warranty as laid down in the Dutch Civil Code (BW), in particular the rules regarding conformity as stated in Article 7:17 BW (principle of conformity) and the protection against hidden defects.

If a delivered product does not meet reasonable expectations, it can be returned to LTBJ GLOBAL (Aquaticstream). The product will then be taken back, exchanged, or refunded, in accordance with your consumer rights.

Warranty periods:
The stainless steel filter systems have a 5-year warranty, excluding taps and accessories. This warranty applies exclusively to purchases made through our website and does not apply to products purchased through third-party sales platforms.
The CarbonFlow Black Filters are covered by a 1-year proportional warranty, calculated every six months, excluding gaskets and wing nuts.
Other accessories have a 6-month warranty.

The warranty period begins on the date the product is received by the original purchaser.

Legal warranty:

In addition to the commercial warranty, the statutory warranty also applies in the Netherlands. This means that a product must meet the expectations you, as a consumer, may have of it, as stipulated in Article 7:17 of the Dutch Civil Code. If the product does not function properly within a reasonable period of time, you are entitled to a free repair, replacement, or refund.

Claims procedure:

All claims, exchange, repair, or refund requests require prior approval from LTBJ GLOBAL (Aquaticstream) customer service. LTBJ GLOBAL (Aquaticstream) products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Seller's liability:

LTBJ GLOBAL (Aquaticstream) is liable for defects that become apparent during normal use, as described in Article 7:21 of the Dutch Civil Code. The seller, not the manufacturer, is responsible for providing a solution.

Exclusions from the warranty:

This warranty does not apply to products that have been used for purposes other than those specified or that have been modified to reduce performance. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

The warranty will be void in the following cases:

  • If a filter element is frozen.

  • If water from a dehumidifier is used daily with the filters.

  • Damaging or breaking a filter element due to a fall.

  • Causing a malfunction in the system through incorrect installation or maintenance.

  • Forgetting to remove the filters from the system before moving the system can cause damage.

  • Performing inappropriate testing on the filters will void the warranty.

  • Using water from a salt-based water softening system, which can clog filters or cause rust on stainless steel.

  • Failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions for use.

Warranty procedure:

To claim the warranty, the buyer must submit a request by email to contact.aquaticstream@gmail.com, including the order number, order date, buyer's name, and the reason for the claim. Once approved by customer service, the buyer will receive instructions for returning the product, including a return label that will be emailed to them. Returns are free of charge throughout the warranty period.
