The Coldstream CTO+ water filter is suitable for on- or under-counter installations and can also be used with your existing water filtration system. With a capacity of 3000 litres, or 6 months, and costing just 1p per litre, it provides ultimate protection against water contaminants, nitrates, fluoride, PFAS, and delivers great tasting drinking water. The filter consists of 2 essential components.

For tasty and safe drinking water Retains essential salts and electrolytes that contribute to good health in the filtered water. Maximum chemical protection against contaminants. No electricity required, The internal carbon core protects against chemical contamination, including pesticides and herbicides. The outer ceramic layer is surrounded by maximum antibacterial protection and removes particles and microplastics.

The Coldstream CTO+ filter outperforms all Berkefeld gravity filters. It is manufactured in the UK by KLT Filtration Ltd.

Coldstream has been successfully tested according to the following standards and methods:

  • U.S. EPA Method 505-2.1 Analysis of Organic Pesticides and Commercial PCBs in Water
  • USA EPA Method 508.1-2 Chlorinated pesticides, herbicides and organohalogen compounds in water by GCECD
  • USA EPA Method 515-2 Chlorinated Acids
  • USA EPA Method 524-2 Measurement of Purgable Organic Compounds in Drinking Water
  • USA EPA Method 525-2 Organic Compounds in Drinking Water
  • USA EPA Method MS301(a) A colorimetric strip indicator test for nitrates (NO3) in water and soil.

Testing is performed according to NSF/ANSI 42, 53 and P231 standards by Envirotek Inc, New Jersey USA, EPA ID # NJ01298 NJ.

Their laboratory complies with all procedures and requirements for laboratory certification and quality assurance as set forth in NJAC 7:18; Subpart 55-2 of the NYCRR, the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference (NELAC) standards, and ISO 17025.

The filters have been tested using a Coldstream system to NSF/ANSI 42, 53 and P231 standards for reduction of listed substances.

The concentration reduction of substances in the water has been reduced to a value less than or equal to the system outgoing water limit as specified in NSF/ANSI 42, 53, and P231 standards.
