Eva Fountain | High density ceramic filter
Eva Fountain | High density ceramic filter
The high-density ceramic filter of Fontein Eva easily retains substances that are spread through drinking water pipes, such as rust, salmonella and Escherichia coli. It works on the principle of an antibacterial barrier. Rainwater can also be filtered.
The high-density ceramic, with a thickness of 1 cm and a porosity of 0.2 microns, guarantees effective water filtration. The water quality is therefore exceptional.
Cleaning and maintenance
It is recommended to clean the ceramic once a month, without detaching it from its mounting base, using white vinegar diluted with tap water. Be careful not to drop the ceramic in the sink.
First use of the ceramics
Place the ceramic in the container with the central hole (no. 4). The inner seal (no. 3) of the ceramic must be inside the container (no. 4). Tighten the butterfly nut (no. 5) of the ceramic, without using too much force, and finally rinse the ceramic under clear tap water.
The Eva Fountain's filtration process will help you use less bottled water. That means less plastic for the planet.
Replacement
Replace the ceramic every 18 months.
Precautionary measures
The ecological ceramic is fragile:
- Do not hold the ceramic by the white dome.
- Grab the ceramic by the base.
- Do not turn the ceramic over, do not pull the white dome, and do not twist the ceramic off the base, otherwise it will break.
- Hold the ceramic by the base and place the seal.
- Place the ceramic in the top container by holding it by the foot.
- Tighten the butterfly nut under the top tray.
To dispose of the ceramic after 18 months, you must unscrew it. Turn the ceramic on its base at the time of replacement - not before.
