Phoenix Gravity New Millennium Edition™ Filters for Berkey® Systems – High-Performance Filtration for Clean Water
The Phoenix Gravity New Millennium Edition™ filters are officially approved by New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. for use with Berkey® gravity water filter systems and other similar systems. These filters offer a cost-effective alternative to Black Berkey® filters and guarantee high flow and efficient water filtration.
Advanced Filtration Technology
The filters utilize CTC 60 activated carbon , derived from coconut shells, which is activated at high temperatures to create millions of micropores. This increases the adsorption surface and ensures that a wide range of contaminants are effectively removed. The special porous structure of the filter offers excellent performance without reducing water flow. The filter material is made of a BPA-free, glass-fiber-reinforced polymer that meets NSF/FDA standards for food contact.
Effective Water Filtration
The Phoenix Gravity New Millennium Edition™ filters are designed to remove a wide range of contaminants from water, including:
Sediments, rust and turbidity
Herbicides, pesticides and heavy metals
Volatile organic compounds (VOCs), disinfectants and pharmaceutical residues
Perfluorinated compounds (PFAS, PFOA, PFOS) , the so-called “eternal pollutants”
Gravity allows for a slow flow of water through the filter, extending contact time and increasing filtration effectiveness . This results in fresh, healthy water without affecting soluble solids (TDS) .
Easy Installation and Compatibility
The filters can be installed in minutes in the top tank of any Berkey® system or other gravity water filter system . They are fully compatible with Berkey PF-2® filters for fluoride and arsenic reduction.
Long-lasting Performance
The filters have a long lifespan of up to 2,750 gallons (approximately 10,400 liters) per filter. This means a set of two filters can process up to 5,500 gallons (approximately 20,800 liters) , depending on water quality. Each filter measures 9.5 inches (24.1 cm) high and 2.5 inches (6.4 cm) in diameter . The box weighs approximately 3 ounces and measures 12 inches (30.5 cm) x 5.3 inches (13.3 cm) x 3 inches (7.6 cm) . The filters are reusable and can be cleaned for the duration of their lifespan.
